EPR and delta

Hello,


Why is the EPR multiplied by the pressure ratio by the sim?


Being that it is a pressure ratio between exhaust and compressor pressures, it shouldn't be affected by the altitude, because both pressures are affected the same by the delta, ie it should cancel out.
