SimConnect_SetDataOnSimObject WASM functionality on XBox

I understand that there are fundamental problems that preclude the use of simconnect for external applications on XBox. However most SimConnect use for aircraft developers takes place via in process WASM modules. Being able to write to simvars is critical for most of our operations as well as having client data structures for inter WASM module communications (Not ideal and in P3D we use direct pointers which would be better but unless Asobo comes up with something similar we have to use SimConnect client data structures). Is this functionality at least going to be possible on XBox?

It is my understanding that it is only the external TCP communication part of SimConnect that is not supported on XBox. In-process calls in WASM using the SimConnect API should not have any functionality difference vs the same code on PC.

Hello,
I can confirm what Matt said, you will be able to use SimConnect for communication between your wasm modules and the sim on Xbox.

Sylvain
