Broken effects after SU6 (potentially just where OFFSET used)

I can confirm that changes in SU6 have broken several of our wake effects and they are spawning in front of our models. This seems to be mainly or exclusively on any effect that has been attached using the OFFSET method to move the effect. The affected models were working fine pre SU6.

Other wake effects appear as a black 'oil slick' beneath the water.

P.S. We can't tag the topic as 'fx' as it's only 2 characters long.

FX_ROTATION_OFFSET_H affect direction of the effect velocity, but in limited range, and always in back hemisphere in my case. It could be a conflict with new LocalDirection node.

p.s. okay, it does not work with Vector3 as well. so just broken.

I have the same problems with effects directly attached to a empty on an aircraft (water drop or delayant drop). I don't yet tested my wakes for boats but they should have the same thing.

Yes I had read it but despite the application of the principles exposed on a copy of the sources, MSFS crashed every time I load a modified effect.
So I created a new project and compared with Winmerge my old modified file and a new one created with SU6.
By applying on the modified file, the few information I had been able to understand, I was finally able to review my 6 effects (1 full day of work) and they can be loaded in DEV MODE but they don't fully work again.

- Tag Emitter to simplify,

- Suppress the Rotation

- Vector3 to be remplaced by LocalDirection nodes

That said I can continue my work.

The link referenced by @dga helped us to fix our wake effects themselves, but the method of attachment using FX_OFFSET_X/Y/Z etc is still broken. It results in the effect flashing in front of the object it's attached to.

Can any Devs give us an update on whether the OFFSET attachment method will be fixed or deprecated please? @FlyingRaccoon @OptimalCoyote89 ?
