Untranslated values returned by SimConnect

A320 aircraft.cfg contains:

[GENERAL]
atc_type = "TT:ATCCOM.ATC_NAME AIRBUS.0.text"
atc_model = "TT:ATCCOM.AC_MODEL_A20N.0.text"

When querying ATC TYPE and ATC MODEL variables through SimConnect, MSFS responds with those resource strings as written to aircraft.cfg instead of translated values "Airbus" and "A20N".

Is this intentional or a bug?

I guess it is itentional, since these are the values within the CFG... But it would be better if it ss returning the "translated" values.
