Bug in airport editor - Taxiway Path

In the airport editor, if I choose Taxiway Path and click "One click editing" before selecting an object I get a message "You need to have 2 objects selected to create a Taxiway Path". Fine, but now clicking anywhere just moves the message to that spot, and no keyboard commands work, the only way out that I can find is alt-F4. Not good for a mistake that's so easy to make.
