Floatplanes skipping on water

Since floatplanes were introduced in Sim Update 5, floatplanes are "jumpy" on the water as soon as you pick up speed. Very slow speed taxi is OK, but as soon as you build up some substantial speed above 20-30kts, the plane skips on the water until you take-off.

Is a redesign or fix expected for this behaviour at some point?

Hello @SWS-AlexVletsas

We are aware of this limitation but there are no short term plan to redesign interaction between floats and water at the moment.
