Vegetation excluded on runways and aprons

In Runway -> Configuration there is the option:
"Exclude vegetation around the runway"
It works in a project but does not work in the sim. The vegetation is always excluded in the sim, even if that option is disabled.

A similar thing happens with Aprons -> Exclude vegetation.
Whatever option is selected in a project (Exclude around, Exclude inside), while it does work when the project is open, it does not work in the sim (all vegetation is removed even if those two options are disabled).

In a project:

In the sim:

Hello Stanislaw,

I was not able to reproduce your issue on a retail version. I created a scenery with an apron and copied the built package to my Community directory and had the expected result with trees removed on the apron itself and around it as well.

Can you provide us with a sample producing the issue so we can have a look?

Regards,
Sylvain

Hello Sylvain.

Thank you for your reply.
Exactly - all trees are removed even if you wish to keep them.
We often use Apron objects to paint grass surfaces and do not want to remove trees from those areas.

Yes, trees can be manually added via polygons however there is another known bug where some % of added trees is black.

Best regards

Stanislaw

Hello Stanislaw,

My bad, I misread your post...
I tested all configurations but don't have any issue keeping trees on or around apron objects.

That's why a sample will help in case you're in a particular configuration

Hello Sylvain.

Please note that this looks fine in the project, just as expected. The problem is with the built project moved to Community. When it is launched this way, the exclusion does not seem to work correctly (while it still does when you open the project from the Dev menu).
Best regards

Stanislaw

About trees spawning where they shouldn't, we have witnessed similar issues and a fix will be provided with the Performance Plus update.

Let us know if that fixes your issues as well.

Sylvain
