Can you adjust external zoom on a plane?

Can you adjust the amount of zoom on a external view of a plane?
The reason is, my cabin goes to LOD00 and the pilots disappear on maximum zoom. I need my pilots visible on exterior view. I have tried setting cabin LOD00 and LOD01 distance settings to 500 and 499 to bypass this, but they still disappear.
