Jetway hood parts and fixed leg jetway

Hi Guys!

Is there any special reason that in the sample the jetway hood is assembled from two objects? x0_Door and x0_Capote?

Would not be easier if it hood/capote would be a single object? I mean from skinning point of view and from performance reason.

BTW the default jetway skinning is faulty. The Capote does not skinned with Door_CTRL_TOP and between the frames 126-136 it detaches from the x0_Door-

Other question is how to go ahead with jetway with fixed leg. If I attach them to the Bone7 Bone8 leg bones, will it not tilt the leg's base? Haven't tested yet.

Other question. Can I simply delete wheel rotation and wheel orient nodes if I do not need them?

Hello

I guess both objects could be grouped in a single skinned mesh. I don't think this is much of a performance issue or our engine programmers would have noticed it and asked for a change.

The jetway sample we provide with the SDK will be updated in the near future and we will have a look at the bug you reported at that moment.

You can delete or change the parts of the rig you don't need to match the way your jetway behaves.

Regards,
Sylvain
