I have recently noticed that all external light behavior on aircraft have changed. Such as the taxi, landing, logo, etc lights on the outside of the aircraft. They no longer illuminate anything outside the aircraft as they used to. The only aircraft where they still function properly as before are the Fenix and PMDG products. All other aircraft including A2A and the aerosoft CRJ are effected by this bug. in all the time previous to now the lights would at least somewhat illuminate as they should so you could see to taxi or takeoff. Now they merly glare upon the surface of the aircraft and do not project light outward. I do not have any lighting mods and I have not amended any config files… I have Windows 11. Has anyone else experienced this during a night time flight? what could be causing it?
I’m not sure if you are a developer or not, but I wanted to give you a heads up that these forums are for third-party developers only and not consumers.
if you are not a developer, you can visit the main consumer-facing forums. You can go to User Support Hub > Aircraft & Systems and you can ask people there if they have experienced this issue and what to do about it.
Alternatively, you could go to a developer’s forums like Aerosoft’s CRJ forum and ask there, as well.
If you are a developer and experiencing this issue in your own aircraft that you are working on, may I suggest editing this topic (click the pencil icon at the top) and changing the category of this topic to: Questions and Community Feedback > Aircraft subcategory. A bug report should only be filed when you are reasonably certain that it is a bug, and when you do, the template that populates should be filled out and not deleted.
