Are you guys serious? Always visible?
Some of us are optimizing our workflows and always run with this mode on. In a single session I can go from attaching, detaching, reattaching, making videos, screenshots, streaming… Why the nagging? I think a timer would make sense (like the package selection at launch for Marketplace people). If not, the window title would be a better place for this, at least we wouldn’t see it in full screen.
Following, I also take videos and shoots often..
A timer would be appreciated.

Agreed. I am not in SU5 right now because I am finishing a soon-to-be-released product, but if I were in the beta build released yesterday, this would be VERY annoying to me as well, especially if I have to take shots.
If this advisory is mandatory, and as @runshotgun stated:
I prefer the notice on the window’s title bar over placing it on top of the D3D rendered scene.

Apologies for this, the current behavior is not the intended one: the message was supposed to disappear after a few seconds (the reason it is there in the first place is that we received a lot of support queries about packages that do not mount - simply because the users forgot they had activated this flag…). This will be fixed before SU5 ships (hopefully in the next update but I cannot be 100% sure at the moment).

Hello Eric (@EPellissier),
Thank you for your clarification. It is pretty justifiable why it is there in the first place, so no worries on my side. Anyway, yes, if you guys can fix it so that it does not appear all the time but only for a few secs while the sim initializes, it would be much appreciated. The notice is there but it will not disturb for shots or recordings during the sim session like @runshotgun, @SimbolFSReborn and me constantly do.
Thanks again!

Upon discussion with the team in charge, the message will appear only during the boot and on the main menu / homepage. Hopefully it won’t affect screenshots/videos you may be producing.
NOTE: writing the information in the window title is not applicable for multiple reasons, the main one being that it would be inefficient for those users always running in full screen.
