Audio occlusion, Speed of Sound

Hi Asobo team,

Are there any plans to add object occlusion to the sim in any capacity? Having the ability to let buildings, trees, landmarks, ground vehicles, and other aircraft affect the way sounds propagate would be a very neat and welcome addition to the sim’s overall immersion.

Also lacking in the sim are proper methods to calculate and present time delays based on distance to a player. Called “speed of sound”, or how quickly you can hear a change in sound depending on its distance.

For example, an aircraft flying ~0.5nm away reduces its throttle. Realistically, you would not hear that change right away, but rather X amount of seconds later due to the relative distance.

Adding these in with the new “reflect” plugin would certainly be extra “ear-candy” realism for us.
