Many thanks Yasmine. I started a new 2020 project with one of my objects and it loaded/converted fine in 2024. So I’m fine developing on MSFS2020 as for faster and offline boot. I’ll load once in a while my project on 2024 for testing. Thanks everybody.
We are not sure to understand your workflow to have your msfs2020 blender asset converted in order to have it in your new or converted msfs2024 project.
In this case you should :
open a blender scenery made with the old exporter (MSFS2020)
convert it using the tool “Convert Scene to MSFS2024”
disable the old exporter and export the new gltf / textures xml in the correct folder.
use the project editor to open and build your project in MSFS2024
There is no backward compatibility for asset exported using the new MSFS2024 exporter to a MSFS2020 project.
