Blender plugin draw order bug

Version: latest

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: Blocker

Context: simobject exported from blender and build with project editor

*Bug description:
Documentation states for standard materials the draw order is defined by the bounding box center of the meshes.
If the material type is set to decal the draw order is solely define by the draw order parameter.
This is currently not the case, with two overlapping meshed with both materials set to decal the draw order remains the same as with standard materials i.e. defined by the bounding box center.
The draw order parameter as no effect in the sim.

Hello @Lw314 ,

Do you have .blend sample that could help us reproduce the behavior ?

Hello @Lw314.

We recently fixed an issue in the Blender exporter where decal materials were being exported without the proper extension, causing them to behave like a standard material and resulting in flickering.

This fix will be included in the next SDK update.

Boris

Hello @Lw314,

Can you confirm this is fixed in the current flighting SU1 1.3.24.0 ?

Regards,
Boris

Ah the latest SDK has not been released yet. We are still using the 2.3.2 from SDK 1.2.3

The draw order decal issue was a game-related issue (this time), not an SDK one, as we had already fixed the decal material in the current SDK Core 1.2.3.

The fix for this bug report is included in the current 1.3.24.0 Flighting version of the game

Boris
