Broken attachment animation with streamed package

Version: 1.6.34.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: High

Marketplace package name: azurpoly-aircraft-jaguar-a

Bug description:

Hello,

We have a very strange issue with our native MSFS 2024 Jaguar. We built the tires as attachments, following the modular approach (one attachment for front tire, another attachment for rear tires). The attachment simply consists of a rotation animation (with a few dynamic parameters).

When working in project mode or with the package in Community folder, the animation works correctly.

When working with the package streamed from the Marketplace, the tires will not rotate, the animation seems to be blocked, even when forcing a value from the behaviors menu (where no error appears).

The exact same package is used in both cases (see here the case with the Community folder overriding the streamed package):

The same issue happens with the our native MSFS 2024 Transall (azurpoly-aircraft-transall).

We are not sure if something is wrong with the attachment or at the streaming level.

Repro steps:

  • Start a flight on the runway with the aircraft streamed.
  • When accelerating, tires are not rotating.

Thanks, kind regards,

Romain

@R-AzurPoly

We actually identified and fixed the issue in one of our ingestion tools a while ago, but you can only get the fix by rebuilding your packages with SU4 or higher and then reingest them through the MCP.

Would you be able to do so on your Draft repository and check that the issue is gone?

Best regards,

Eric / Asobo

Hello @R-AzurPoly

Is this resolved?

Hello @FlyingRaccoon,

We did not test yet, we plan to do it as part of the next update of our Jaguar. I will update this post.

Thanks,

Romain
