Version: 1.7.10.0
Frequency: Consistently
Severity: Blocker
Bug Description:
When a custom camera is acquired, the sound always corresponds to the interior cockpit view, regardless of the selected reference.
Only camera rotations affect the audio.
All other parameters—such as interior/exterior cockpit state or distance from the aircraft—do not modify the sound as they normally do with the default cameras.
This results in the audio remaining in an interior perspective, even when the camera is positioned outside the aircraft.
Hello @DeelLav
I could replicate the issue, however in my case, distance to aircraft does influence the audio.
Am I missing something? Do you have a recording showing what you mean exactly?

Sylvain
Hello,
I’ll try to make a video as soon as possible.
By the way, on the latest SDK version, if I lock onto another aircraft, I still hear the sound from my own aircraft (I’m not sure if it was the same in the previous version).
However, the sound of the other aircraft is correctly affected by distance. So the issue only seems to occur with the user’s aircraft.
I think those issues are simply because it’s using internal sounds. In the default cameras too, depending on how the sounds were coded for a given plane, internal sounds don’t really change regardless of how far you are from the aircraft (when you manage to escape the boundary poly)
That’s right, this likely depends from the Wwise configuration.
Actually, since we keep the interior cockpit sound, distance doesn’t affect the sound.
