Bug description:
In the Project Inspector → Content Manager Thumbnail, the SDK specifies that the thumbnail must be exactly 412×170.
A JPG image with the correct size (412×170) is created and assigned.
After building the scenery package and placing it in the Community folder, the thumbnail shown in the Content Manager is not displayed correctly.
The image appears:
cropped in a way that does not match the original aspect ratio
Repro steps:
- Create a new Scenery Project in the Project Editor.
- Assign a Content Manager Thumbnail with size 412×170.
- Build the package.
- Install the package into the Community folder.
- Launch MSFS and open Profile → Content Manager.
- Locate the installed scenery and observe the thumbnail.
Expected result:
The thumbnail should be displayed exactly as provided, respecting the 412×170 ratio without distortion or cropping.
Actual result:
The thumbnail appears incorrectly rendered, with visible stretching or cropping, as if the simulator does not respect the mandatory aspect ratio defined in the Project Inspector.
