When creating a stand alone livery for an aircraft, how do you find out what folder name to use for the folder containing the textures. The SDK says texture or texture.exterior.
One the L-39 the folder texture.exterior worked. However for other aircraft no matter what values I use for the texture folder it always displays plain white textures on the aircraft. The 2 aircraft I have tried so far are the 152 and the TBM930. I can get my livery to appear in the aircraft liveries list for each aircraft, and it shows my thumbnail correctly.
This is the TBM930 that won’t use my textures. No matter what name I give the textures folder, I only get the default textures. The folder names I have tried texture, texture.exterior and texture.livery. None worked and I ended with the default white textures.
The lear is just my thumbnail placeholder until I can generate a proper thumbnail.
This was the L-39 that worked successfully
There’s nothing in the VFS Projector for the TBM930 that looks much different to the L-39. So how can I find out the logic used for each aircraft in relation to the texture folder name for liveries, so that I use the right folder name for textures.
