CTD when disconnecting lines from all suppliers to buses

Version: 1.6.34.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: Blocker

Context: In flight –> Mounted

Bug description:

I am coming across an issue with the 2024 electrical system that appears to CTD the sim when I disconnect lines from all available power sources, such as both batteries and generators, to their respective buses. I’ve isolated any XMLs or avionics code that may be affecting the electrical system and managed these lines strictly through the electrical debug menu. Unfortunately, I do not see any warnings or errors in the debug menu, so I am not sure what may be causing the issue, and it is hard to gauge due to the number of buses, circuits, and lines that we have.

Repro steps:

  1. Build and mount package
  2. Disconnect leftalternator and externalpower line state (suppliers)
  3. Disconnect lh_batt_relay managed line (relays)
  4. Disconnect rh_batt_relay managed line (relays)
  5. Disconnect lh_gen_relay managed line (relays)
  6. Disconnect rightgenerator line state (suppliers)

CTD should occur here.

Hello @john

I was able to replicate the issue.
I’ll have it investigated further.

Sylvain

Hello @john

I just wanted to let you know that the issue is on our side.
The electrical system was not really able to handle that many circuits and connections.
Your system is likely the most complex we’ve seen so this is a good test for us.
There a fixes in the pipes that will likely be available with SU5.
I will update this thread when it’s available.

Sylvain
