  1. This is already covered by this bug report:

    There is a fix candidate coming with SU5. If you provide us with your package, I can ensure the fix will address your case as well.

  2. There is no such plans, at least in the short term.
    But this feature is requested a lot so this is being discussed on a regular basis.
