Bug description: Since SU5 I am experiencing a dislocation of simple tooltips that just consist of text, into the upper left corner of the screen. This happens when leaving the highlighted node with the cursor.

I have had this issue since day one. No head tracking, happens on the ground as well.
I don’t use Tooltips anymore and no customer has complained so I assumed it was only me who had this issue. I also assumed it would have been fixed by now.
When you move slowly the tooltips are fixed in 3d space. When you go fast they snap to the top left corner.
Thanks for the additional demonstration. To be honest I might have just missed it pre SU5 and it could have been like that for a longer time. What’s interesting tho is the fact that you are experiencing it on ground as well.
this bug is a general phenomenon for a certain type of tooltip. As described in the video, it only happens with legacy tooltips that are just text. The default aircraft do not use such tooltips anymore, that is why you cannot reproduce it with those.
