Duplicate entries in Content.xml

Duplicate entries are still happening for content that is owned on marketplace and bought at 3rd party website.

<Package name="fs20-orbx-landmarks-london-city-pack" active="UserDisabled"/>
<Package name="fs20-inibuilds-airport-eggw-luton" active="UserDisabled"/>
<Package name="fs20-flytampa-amsterdam" active="UserDisabled"/>
<Package name="communityfs20-inibuilds-airport-eghi-southampton" active="Activated"/>

These still get added every single startup.

There seems to be no check done on content that isn’t on the system anymore but still in the content.xml and sorting is a bit of a mess.

Hello @Cygnifick

Which one is duplicated exactly?
Aren’t the ones mounted through Community listed in Content.xml with a “community” prefix in their name?

As shown in your extract, if you own something on the Marketplace but you disabled it, they are supposed to be shown with active property set to “UserDisabled”.

@darwikey FYI

Hello Sylvain,

My example shows the files that keep getting duplicated to the content.xml. i.e hundreds of duplicates if I dont clean it myself.

Can you please provide us with your full content.xml?
I’ll log a bug and have it investigated.

Thank you
Regards,
Sylvain

Hello Sylvain,

Sorry for the late reply. Here is my content.xml with the problem shown at the end.

Content.xml (106.3 KB)

<Package name="communityfs20-orbx-landmarks-london-city-pack" active="Activated"/>
<Package name="communityfs20-inibuilds-airport-eghi-southampton" active="Activated"/>
<Package name="communityfs20-flytampa-amsterdam" active="Activated"/>
<Package name="communityfs20-inibuilds-airport-eggw-luton" active="Activated"/>

These get duplicated on every sim run.

Edit: I bought these from the ingame store and ORBX, Inibuilds and Simmarket.
