After exporting a model from Blender 3.1 using Asobo exporter 1.1.6 and
successfully compiling the project with SDK 0.19 When I open the project in
the scenery editor there are two copies of each new model in the scenery
object selector. Kev
Hi @Photosbykev , I don’t think this is related to the exporter Do you use
fspackagetool.exe of the last available sdk (0.19) to compile your project or
do you use the project editor to do it ? Also, these projects were build first
in SU9 or before ? That’s not a new project right ? Do you have this issue
with your other projects ? Regards, Boris
Morning again Boris I don’t think it’s the exporter either. I use
fspackagetool.exe or compile from inside the scenery editor (sdk 0.19) after
exporting This is a new project started Monday using only SU10b, I haven’t
checked with older SU9 projects. The model is just a rock circle around palm
trees which I exported from Blender into the fybj-modelLib folder and then
compiled with fspackagetool.exe before loading into the sim for editing. This
is what I get in the Objects selector window
Kev
a bit more info on this: I grabbed a model compiled for MSFS by a 3rd party
off Flightsim.to, to eliminate any export error I might
have, copied it into my project and re-compiled the project by dragging the
project xml onto fspackagetool.exe.and then copying the compiled project into
the community folder Opened up the project in the scenery editor and looked at
the object selector and there were two copies of the model visible. Attached
is a link to the compiled model folder/textures should you wish to add to a
project to test it.
