[FIXED] Cannot exclude world points of interest models (streamed 2020 package)

Version: 1.6.34.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: Blocker

Context: Affecting custom landmark sceneries

Bug description:

Exclusion rectangles and polygons with ‘Exclude all’ properties are having no effect on the world points of interest package (streamed from 2020). This is causing major issues with terrain in certain locations, as the terraform polygons in the world poi package are taking priority over custom packages.

I have played around with ‘priority package order’, as well as ‘Globally override base sim files’, but to no luck.

Repro steps:

Create a project.
Go to the location of a World POI (Sydney Opera House).
Place an exclusion rectangle to cover the POI. (You will see the model be removed in editor).
Place a polygon with exclude all properties.
Save Scenery.
Build the project and place the package in the community folder.
Fly to the location of the POI (Sydney Opera House)

You should expect to still see the model from the world points of interest package.

FIXED!

Apologies, I must have missed a package priority.

For anyone wondering, the correct package priority is ‘Point of interest patch’. This overrides the world poi package for the area in question.

On another note, sorry for the multiple edits. I didn’t know how messy posts can get on this site.
