Bug description:
Using terraforming on TIN elevated roads and bridges collapses the texture on itself and causes bad flickering and ugliness.
Using Exclude TIN does not fix this, but instead causes similar ugliness although with less flickering.
Example of sceneries this affects: Flightbeam’s KSFO when city update 10 is installed. (I am not associated with Flightbeam, this is just an example).
Repro steps:
1: Go to KSFO with city update 10 installed.
2: Find one of the major highway intersections around the airport perimeter.
3: Note that the road overpasses are well done TIN with proper bridge shape with open air under the bridge.
4: Create scenery project.
5: Create polygon or rectangle covering intersection
6: Enable terraforming.
7: Observe that road/overpass/bridge collapse down onto the surface and the road surface becomes very ugly and starts flickering.
