Since SU4, Orb Light effects such as LIGHT_RED and LIGHT_WHITE_UNIDIREC render through the aircraft fuselage.
This did not occur before SU4 Release.
An alternative would be a guide on how to create custom Orb lights, which is long overdo: How are orb lights created?

I’m not sure of what light you are talking about.
Is it a custom light your created / an existing preset somewhere ?
Are you seeing this behavior with all aircraft, or only with the one you’re currently using? If it’s only with one aircraft, what’s the aircraft name?
