Glass, I mean gauges glass

Hi, I follow SDK to get a nice reflective glass on my gauges. I follow this: ../Cockpit/Textures/Translucent_Elements
I set the material accordingly, set cockpit_type to 1 in cockpit.cfg. Can’t get any reflections maybe except for some kind of screen space reflections if I move my eyepoint close to the gauges and look left or right at very narrow angle.

Anybody from the dev team? There are default MSFS 2024 planes which don’t have cockpit_type set at all yet they have reflecting glass…

Hello,

Did you check the cabri g2 sdk sample to see how the material is set ?

Boris

Yes, I set everything in a similiar way. But it works now. I misunderstood this:

1 - Closed Cockpit
This is to be used if the rear of the cockpit is completely closed off.

I took it as a cockpit without a window at the back, I mean non-Cessna cockpit and I chose this “1” which wiped out any reflections at a stright angle. It looks like we have to live with the Cessnas behind our backs. I set it to 0, open cockpit and it works now. Thx.
