Ground markings shifting between development mode and actual scenery

Version: SU16 - 1.39.9.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: High

Context: I am developing a scenery for DNMM.

Bug description: A user informed me that the number markings of the gates were broken. For me, they look normal in the SDK after fixing them but once I look at them out of dev mode they are broken. They appear the same way for everyone which leads me to think they are shifted by a certain distance.

Repro steps: Try creating a number marking like on the picture attached with the ground texture (I don’t know how it’s called exactly) and check if it appears the same way out of development mode.

Hi,
This issue occurs when the lat/long of your airport doesn’t match exactly the position of our airports. In MSFS2024, a fix is being made for SU5 to avoid that.
But for MSFS2020, there is a workaround, you need to enable the “local UV” option in your aprons.
