Hi Asobo,
Want to ask about the new feature added to 3ds max - ground tag for collision…
Will there be SDK info on this soon? And will this work for aircraft accessory sim objects? For example, I would like to have a secondary GPU and have it always on the ground no matter what the aircraft gear suspension is at so this way it stays exactly on the ground. I would not expect it to stay on the ground once the aircraft is no longer on the ground itself. We would hide the GPU at this point. But this new feature sounds like exactly what we have needed for years so we no longer have to animation the object with the suspension and try to keep the object on the ground.
If yes, will this work for attached sim objects for aircraft? Can you please share some notes on how to test this new feature before it is added to the SDK. I am trying to figure this out and so far not having any luck. I did create a separate sim object seen here.
But I am not sure I need to attach this in the attachments or presets or I need to setup a navigation graph.
