I would like to have some clarifications about the “Has Heading” and “Heading”
parameter of the Light Row command used with a custom Light Preset. Is this
feature working ? The headings seems to be a bit unpredictable and, it’s not
clear how the “Heading” parameter works. It says the Heading is in Meters and
the SDK confirms that. Which is quite confusing: what Heading, in meters,
means ?
Currently the “Has Heading” section is not relevant for the light row objects,
and the docs will be updated to reflect this (and the fact that yes, it should
be in degrees, not meters) … Sorry for the inconvenience this may have
caused. Also please note that we have a more in-depth discussion on light rows
and presets here, if you’d like to participate and see what has been discussed
already: https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/3262
Hi! Any news about it? If I use the heading parameter my custom lights model
rotate perfectly but the ‘light effect’ remain in the same position, and it
makes impossible to change the direction of a light. Thanks for any
clarification!
