Helicopter position on Helipad

Hi,

i create an Helipad and will start cold & dark from this.

Everything is fine but there is one problem.

The helicopter is positioned too far forward on the helipad. How can I change its starting position?

In the helipad properties, click Edit position and use the gizmo to move the start position where you want, similar to the start position on runways.

Another question:

Now i have 2 starting points: the helipad and the parking position. If i coose the parking position i can start the helicopter cold & dark. If i choose the helipad as starting position, the helicopter is running.

How i can remove or make unvisible the helipad point, to start every time as cold & dark?

The problem is that the to starting points are too close and its very difficult to choose the right point.

I’m not sure about 2024, but in 2020 you can choose either helipad or parking using the dropdown at the top.

In 2020, there was a tooltip which switched between the two when you moved the mouse over the helipad, I haven’t noticed if it works the same in 2024.

You could just remove the helipad and rename the parking as ‘Helipad x’.
