How to customize UI for Liquid Dropping?

I’ve setup a pretty simple liquid dropping setup for some auxiliary tanks I need in my project. For the most part they along with their associated doors (nozzles) work great. However, the UI shown in the tablet is dreadful and I’d like to assign actual names to the tanks as well as remove that odd float that shows above the quantity.
Can this be done and if so… how.

sharing this here in case it can help anyone else.
I was able to find the information I needed in the SDK documentation.
To modify labels and such in the EFB, it’s all done by editing the panel.xml EFB tag
