Bug description:
Everytime we change the textures folder by removing a file, or we remove any file from a project or folder, the entire compilation process goes supper slow and takes very long time.
This is very problematic as when you experimenting with presets, wao, you can spend all day on this, everytime I try to do some arrengements of textures or files, it goes compiling for 22 minutes..
Repro steps:
Delete a texture file, move it for a livery or something and recompile a project.
Is there a way to avoid this?
Thanks,
Raul
Bump, this causes me a lot of time waste……………
Would you be able to tell me which file I could delete from the DA62 SDK sample to reproduce the issue you are seeing? If you don’t have time for this, can I ask what kind of texture (which folder in your package sources) you are deleting to trigger this behavior?
Best regards,
Eric / Asobo
It happens to me when I delete texture files from the liveries folder, or presets.. I seem it too also when I delete texture files from the main common folder.
I am sending you my project in full via private content so you can try yourself, the easier way to reproduce is to compile in full.. then go to a livery folder and remove a texture .png and .xml from their folders.. boom, takes me like 11 minutes to compile again and this is on a very powerfull computer haha.
when you trying to create new presets, and you are arranging things, this also occurs..
Best,
Raul

you can disable live asset reloading so it only builds on demand instead of on detected file changes:
dev tool bar => options=>uncheck “live asset reloading”
I tried that, but, then when I hit compile it will take the full 11 minutes because I removed a texture haha.
