I would like to get "Disable controllers" back please

In FSX we had the option to disable the USB controller logic entirely. The sim
would then bypass all checks etc. related to game controllers and they would
not work in the sim. I have a lot of USB devices attached to my devel
computer, and MSFS is really struggling with them. 1. Just starting the sim,
it hangs several minutes and Windows is playing the “USB sound”, as if it is
disconnecting and reconnecting USB devices a couple of times. More often than
not, MSFS crashes entirely. 2. When starting any software that is related to
USB devices, for example the Elgato StreamDeck, MSFS will “hang” for 5-10
minutes, Windows will play USB sounds again, and 2 out of 3 times MSFS will
again crash entirely. Since I am not using any of the MSFS controller logic,
it would be great if I could just disable the entire module like in the past.
Maybe I am the only one, but I am willing to bet that there are some cockpit
builders with non-standard hardware who are sharing this grief.
