In some airplanes/helicopters, the pilot’s default position is shifted laterally. On fighter jets the HUD displays can be covered; on helicopters you even sit outside the cockpit.
This can of course be corrected; But if you go back to the standard cockpit position, you’ll be sitting wrong again.
Each aircraft comes with a file called cameras.cfg (text file) in which 25 positions (X,Y,Z) are predefined.
If someone could tell me which entry is the one for the default cockpit position when loading the aircraft, I could correct this for all faulty aircraft.
Note: It’s not about self-defined positions, as someone already wrote to me and which you can save yourself with Ctrl-Alt-# and restore with Alt-#, but about the default position in the cockpit.
I asked here and at ASOBO, but received no answer.
I then asked a manufacturer whose model also showed an incorrect cockpit position when loading. There I will get the necessary information.
I can now solve the problem myself.
