Interior light initilisation

Version: 1.5.27.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: High

Bug description:

One of our developers is having an issue where some interior lights use their default (0,0,0) rotation angle for a single frame, before adopting their user-defined rotation. They also appear to be at full brightness for that frame, regardless of the potentiometer setting. This has the effect of a bright lightning strike in the cabin of the aircraft when you press the light switch. Here is a video.

Hello,

I can only reproduce the issue when using the user light debug tool to enable some light with mesh (DA62).

Are you sure you also have the issue when pressing the light switch without the user light tool enabled ?

Regards,
Boris

Hi Boris,

Our developer has confirmed that it occurs with CABIN type lighting without ever opening the user lights dialog during that session. Here is a video.

Thanks,
Martyn

Hello,

Thank you for the video.
We have an issue about this in our backlog, and it should likely be fixed for SU5.

I’ll let you know as soon as I have any updates to share.

Regards,
Boris
