Hello team , Engine start up time is always 50 seconds , The following entries
are not changing the timing even though I tried extremely small and extremely
large values: starter_N1_max_pct starter_N1_rate n1_start_max_rate
n1_start_combustion_max_rate Am I looking at the wrong location configuring
this? Note: using modern jet engine cfg use_commanded_Ne_Table =0
use_corrected_N2_from_FF_table =0 use_n2_to_n1_table =0
use_old_fuelflow_simvar =0
Hello @MarwanGharib You are right, there seems to be additional constraint on
top of configuration to adjust this timing. This lacks flexibility and this is
also a problem internally. We plan to have a look at it and see how we can
improve this. I’ll come back to you when we move forward on this. In the
meantime, there’s not much you can do I’m afraid. Regards, Sylvain
Hello @MarwanGharib Just wanted to let you know that this has been addressed
in SU9. You can test it if you have access to beta SU9. Here are some
additional parameters:
know if that solves your problem. Regards, Sylvain
Awesome stuff Sylvian , Tested and working, n2_starter_max_rate seemed to be
the parameter that had the effect on the electric turbine engine startup.
Thanks alot for your follow up
