KGUC Gunnison-Crested Butte Rngl - Gate/Jetway & Terrain Issues

The jetways at KGUC go into (and across) the parking spaces for Gates 0 & 19. (In real life, they are Gates 2 & 3). Because the center of Gate 0 is parked too close to the terminal building, it renders the jetway unusable, and it also prevents stairway passenger boarding from functioning normally. Lacking a fast/easy method to edit the gate/jetway positions “in place” and connect them to the existing airport network using the SDK, I opted to use a temporary fix with the SDK, creating an airport file and using the deleteAllJetways command. It still doesn’t fix the passenger boarding issue, but the planes no longer intersect the jetway.

In that process, I discovered that there may be other things going on with the airport affecting some of the elevation information in the area, because once I had my new version activated, the “W” on “W Mountain” suddenly didn’t look like it was “melting”…

but now looks like it does in real life. In fact, the terrain of the lower portion of the mountain has now popped up to its original contour as well.

These (and other) issues have now been resolved and corrected as part of an update I did to the surrounding area, and the new scenery/airports are available here: Colorado Seasons Enhanced - Scenery Enhancements for MSFS | Flightsim.to
