Landing light not working, but works with Live Edition enabled...!

Version: 1.6.34.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: Blocker

Context: Hunter MK-58 project - preparation of the next update

**Bug description:**I can’t get my landing lights or taxi lights to work. But in developer mode, in SimObject Editor > Systems > Lights, without changing anything in the systems.cfg file settings, when I set it to “Live Edition,” my landing lights work! Why is that?

Repro steps:
1.
So, my landing light isn’t working.
2. The electrical system shows that my light is properly connected (bus, circuit ON), and the values of the variables (A:LIGHT LANDING, bool) and/or (A:LIGHT TAXI, bool) are correct.
3. In SimObject Editor > Systems > Lights, without changing anything in the systems.cfg file settings, I set it to “Live Edition”…, and my landing light is working now…!
4. I exit “Live Edition” mode, and my landing light continues to operate.
5. I enter the cockpit to operate the landing light switch.
6. I flip the switch to OFF… and the landing light turns off. Perfect…!
7. I flip the switch to ON…, and the landing light comes back on. Wonderful…!
8. I’m rebuilding the project again,or restart the aircraft… and nothing works anymore…!

Why…? What exactly happens in the simulator when I switch to “Live Edition” without changing anything else?

Because when I switch back to “Live Edition,” my light works again…

With the energy of despair… I simply tried moving my lightdef.23 line to the lightdef.3 line in my systems.cfg file… and, without understanding why, my landing light now works…!!!
I should point out that lights lightdef.4 to ightdef.23 are also working…! If you can explain why… it would be less magical!

Hello @Chris-SMS,

I think I was able to reproduce an issue that looks like yours when doing a “build all” with live reload on and light enabled in System > Lights.

I will log a ticket.
