Hi Asobo,
Our aircraft at the FS2024 marketplace is giving half of our users an incomplete download which is leading towards pink textures. The amount of emails and concerns has been larger than expected.
Our product update was released on March 12 2026, many users experienced missing art colored in pink checkers.
This happened to our Bravoairspace 787-9.
One solution that has helped most people is to uninstall it, clear cache, restart game and unable streaming.
Looking forward hearing from you.
@playboy
What do you mean by “incomplete download”? Did your users try to download the package locally or do you simply mean that some textures are not streamed as expected?
Best regards,
Eric / Asobo
@EPellissier Hi Eric,
My apologies, I should have given you a detailed post.
Regarding your question, what we mean by incomplete download is that the plane was missing many textures to half of the users after it gets updated by them.
The users has told us that they either downloaded it or stream it. So I think the answer relies for both choices you’ve given me, art elements weren’t either streamed or downloaded normally.
I have granted myself the aircraft and didn’t see any issue with it - are there specific liveries to look into? Was the issue reported by all users? When you instructed them to uninstall the aircraft and only stream it, did it resolve the issue?
Did they send screenshots that you could share by any chance?
Best regards,
Eric / Asobo
@EPellissier Here’s just two screens from two different people.
It’s not a livery issue it seems like an entire thing issue.
The way it was resolved was by deleting it, clearing cache, restarting game/console and enabling the aircraft.
But to answer your question about streaming and download I think from what I’ve been told by them this happens regardless of the method they have enabled the aircraft.
We also test the aircraft only in stream not download so maybe we should had downloaded as instructed by Microsoft in order to check it.
But look at the image, even the thumbnail is missing on the EL AL.
Hi there, I wanted to add another screenshot from another user. This is our ground livery package. As you can see the textures are missing.
Since neither you or we manage to reproduce this issue easily, it could be useful to get an export of the console messages from your users that see the problem on their machine.
See the last paragraph:
There are also buttons available to Copy the source and description to the clipboard, or to Log to File, which will open a file explorer and let you save all the information to a *.txt file.
Best regards,
Eric / Asobo
The issue here is that all these users are console-gamers and no PC.
That’s probably an important piece of this bug report.
Do you know if the affected users mostly use Series S or Series X consoles?
Best regards,
Eric / Asobo
true “missing information on bug report”.
Well it’s actually a mixed but they are mainly XBOX X users.
Hello guys,
We still have people having issues with our products when they “download” them from the marketplace.
They keep seeing purple/pink mesh. It happens on a weekly basis. Some people are on PC have the same issue.
Did you ask them to send you a Console export as previously suggested?
Best regards,
Eric / Asobo
Next time I get a PC user with this issue I will ask them.
Hello @EPellissier,
From this topic, I have just received a report of this same issue but with my product (package name: nextgensim-aircraft-bandeirante). A customer of mine on Discord, who uses MSFS 2024 on PC with the Microsoft Store version of the sim, purchased the aircraft from the in-game Marketplace, installed it locally on his system, and the textures appeared all pink on his system (see screenshots below).
He then removed the local installation of the package and is currently using the product streamed; the product and textures all work correctly when the package is streamed, just that he would like to install it locally for the sake of saving bandwidth but with the pink textures issue… this would be blocking for anyone who wants to use the aircraft on devices (PC or console) with limited bandwidth.
Looking forward to any further response in this regard.
Thank you so much in advance for your help on this.
Regards,
Carlos Daniel González Gómez
NextGen Simulations
I published an update to one of my airports about 2 weeks ago and I received several reports with this same issue.
They all solved it by:
- uninstalling addon
- clearing rolling cache
- restarting the sim
- reinstalling the addon
- restarting the sim
One of the users with the problem mentioned downloading it instead of streaming
I am almost sure this is the same behavior that happens with MSFS 2020 when the add-ons are first installed, and they don’t load correctly until a sim restart. It’s just like putting something in the community folder with the sim running. It needs a restart to work correctly.
