Missing thumbnails

Version: 1.5.10.0 and all previous versions

Severity: Low

Marketplace package name: One example is Saab 340

Context: SDK, When editing or mounted from Community.

Bug description: Can’t add a thumbnail in project editor, a new project can select thumbnail, but it only flickers the placeholder. Nothing is added. Additionally Community folder thumbnails do not show in My Library.

Repro steps: Start a new project or open one in SDK. Click on placeholder thumbnail and try to add, nothing adds.
I hope I did this correctly?

Hello,

This has been logged in our backlog.
In the meantime, as a workarround, you can manually overwrite the thumbnail.jpg that is located in
yourprojectname\PackageDefinitions\yourcompany-yourprojectname\ContentInfo and reload the project.

That worked, but the thumbnail still doesn’t show in my library community folder.

Sorry I forgot to add that we had already logged an issue in our backlog about this one but no ETA for a fix yet.

Hello,

In the 1.5.15.0 SU3 flighting, we integrated a fix for the thumbail in the project editor.
Can you test again and confim this is fixed please ?

I just changed my motherboard to upgrade, and beta 3 went away, I’m back at standard release. I’ll have to reinstall it to find out. Thanks Duane

Ok I got it tested. The project editor adds or changes thumbnails now. Thanks, one down now cummunity folder thumbnails !
