add to that list
- Resistors (ie wire resistance, battery internal resistance etc etc)
- Diodes
The simulation of a battery’s Internal Resistance, as a function of other parameter, like charge, temperature, age etc would be a great addition to the plane’s electrical system
see post Electrical Inverters - #2 by N6722C
such an addition would automatically allow feature like light dimming when the starter motor is used, dimming more as the battery charge decreases etc etc, instead of having to process EVERY load with it’s own individual simulated voltage drop.
Note: The Internal Resistance should (really MUST) be a read/write A"var so a Dev can make its value dynamically whatever they want, depending on how deeply they want to simulate it’s dynamically changing value.
ie Just putting a fixed static vale a .cfg file is next to useless,( unless if it set to ZERO, then an A-var can control that resistance, dynamically with JS/XML/Wasm)
