Hi, i try to install latest
MSFS2020 SDK (MSFS_SDK_Core_Installer_0.24.5.msi),
installer works ok but cannot find my 3DS Max 2024 installation??
Anyone..?
I have installed MSFS2024 SDK without any problems, all ok inside 3DS Max 2024

There is an issue with the installer indeed.
We will fix this for the next SDK version.

This is another story.
Starting from version 2025, the scripting language our plugin relies on has changed a lot, which means the plugin needs to be mostly rewritten.
There are ongoing discussions in our team about this, and we hope we can communicate about this soon.

If you want to set up your 3dsmax 2024 tools while we fix the sdk installer you can follow these steps:

  1. Copy the file “C:\MSFS 2024 SDK\Tools\3dsMax\MSFS2024Package\startup\MSFS2024_SDK_Startup.ms” '(you can find it in your SDK install folder) and past it in “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2024\scripts\Startup\” (or following your 3dsmax 2024 install folder)
  2. Then copy the dll files you’ll find here “C:\MSFS 2024 SDK\Tools\3dsMax\MSFS2024Package\plugins\glTF_Exporter\2024“ (depending on where you installed your SDK) and paste it here : “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2022\bin\assemblies”
  3. You should now have the MSFS2024 3dsmax 2024 tool set up
