MSFS2024 SU4: Sound cut-out/cut-in when multiple Aircraft SimObjects are added to the sim

Bug description:
When multiple SimObjects of type Aircraft are added to the sim, the sim will cut-out/cut-in sound based on which Aircraft are closest to the camera. This was not the case in SU3 (I believe) and is not the case in MSFS2020. As mentioned in the devpost linked below, it appears there has been a cap added in SU4 on how may sound-producing Aircraft (or SimObjects) the sim will play sound for.

An aircraft flying past the camera will go from no sound at all, to an abrupt start of loud engine sound when close enough to the camera, and then an abrupt cut-out of the sound as it reaches a distance from the camera.

Would be great to have the old sound processing back with no cap on ‘Aircraft’ type SimObjects.
