Growing increasingly weary from throwing Random numbers at Simobject Editor to see if anything sticks :frowning:

using Mech Efficiency Curve and Friction Table)
WHY can I not get PEAK RPM and PEAK POWER to match ??
I can have 540 HP @100 % Power (As show in engines debug)
”OR” I can Get Peak RPM of 3100 ..

I have been trying all methods I can imagine to Achieve 100% Power at 3100 Eng RPM
The reduction gearbox is 1.65 but this should affect Prop RPM Only

Suggestions ?

have you looked at the max_rpm_friction_scalar ?
this really isnt my bag so ignore me if you like

Yeah all this does is scale the amount of Max friction applied in the Table
same as the other relative scalars in that list..

cant see you needing much more ?
