Bug description: When using SDK 1.2.2 and latest SU1 Beta, polygons with Ground texture are see-through (ground merging is not checked and Opacity set to full 255). I am trying to hide some old satellite imagery and using a polygon with ‘GrassGround3’ material which is a close match to surrounding area. This was working fine before the latest Beta update 1.3.1.
Add a polygon to a satellite image at an airport and use a Ground material.
The grass texture that you applied try to patch the default aerial and by design, it will not be able to 100% cover it.
In your case, you will need to add a custom aerial that hide this part and then on top of that you will be able to add your apron with a grass material on it.
Boris - OK, I will try to use a different technique for this, thanks for clarifying. Is this something new as it worked (completely covered the satellite image) before the recent Beta update, Thanks!
Thanks, and FYI I also tried with an apron instead of a polygon which also does the same thing and used to work well for hiding some of the satellite blemishes.
