Power-to-weight ratio not working correctly

Version: 1.5.13.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: Blocker

Bug description: I am trying to add the [Aerial Advertising] career and one of the checks is not working. When I change the max_rated_hp the formula has no change. If I change the empty weight the formula changes based on the career check. I had to lower my empty weight from 783lbs to 15lbs to get .113 or higher of the power-to-weight ratio to be within expected value.

This is max_rated_hp 130 @ 1 engine and empty @ 14 lbs

This is max_rated_hp 130 @ 1 engine and empty @ 783 lbs

Again changing the max_rated_hp from the common or the preset with modular enabled has no effect on this value based on this formula.

Hope to see this fixed or a reply on why it not working for me.

Hello @Flysimware

Are you working on a piston engine airplane?
Just tested with the Da62 and it worked as expected.

Just in case, if you are working on a turboprop, rated_shaft_hp must be used instead.
This is mentioned above the equation but I agree this can be misleading.

I will test the DA62 myself and see if I can figure out what is going on. I am using a single piston with a fixed prop.

This is fixed in flighting documentation.

Sylvain
