Last week I was working on editing a default airport in the MSFS 2024 SDK. I have been using the SDK for quite a while now and have not had any issues until recently. The problem is that when I want to add an object from the Object Editor, I will select my object, click “Add”, but then nothing happens. The object does not get placed and nothing displays in the properties window. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SDK, uninstalling and reinstalling MSFS 2024, and also installing different graphics drivers. Nothing seems to resolve the problem. Hope I am posting in the right place. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I may have inadvertenly solved my own problem. I tried moving my compiled package into the FS24 Community folder, opened my project in the SDK which is outside of the Community folder, and from then on I was able to place objects again, Kind of a strange woraround, but I guess I’ll just have to be happy with that.

Hey @retireddude53 ,

Sorry for the delay.
I’ve tried many situations on my side, but without any repro.
Are there specific reproduction steps, or is it just a matter of selecting an object from the list and placing it ?
Can you please send your package using private content point 3 (How to report a bug or crash).

Best regards,
Romain
