Projected Mesh does not reload after a gltf or texture update

Version: 1.3.10.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: High

Context: Package is opened in devmode, with the scenery loaded into editor.

Similar MSFS 2020 issue: Does not occur in MSFS2020

Bug description:
Any sort of edit or change to a projected mesh causes ALL the projected meshes to simply disappear and not load again while an airport project is loaded. This includes updating a projected mesh gltf file, or a texture update. The ground PM disappears, like it usually does before it updates, however it does not re-appear. You have to EXIT the game completely since the performance completely tanks after this happens.

Repro steps:
Open project. Update a projected mesh GLTF or texture while in editor mode.

Hello @RaceMasterPC,

This issue has been fixed in SU3 currently in flighting.

Please, let me know if this is working for you.

Regards,
Boris

Hello, I’m kinda new in the scenery developpement.

My project started mid december so it’s should be with the public release of SU4, and noticed the same behaviour with Projected Mesh.

It’s seems that the only workaroud I found is, fortunately not exit the sim, but select the PM, activate the gizmo in translate mode, then click on one of the axis to reload it.

Is that an intented behaviour since SU3 ?
