Bug description:
We have recently updated our 3DS max scene to a 2024 naitive one so that we can get the windshield wiper clearing effects working. The problem we face is that the raindrop direction is incorrect on the side cockpit windows and passenger windows, flowing upwards. We appear to have no control over this since the previous UV2 layout is ignored.

Hello @Hodgeheg4424,
If you allow me to give you some light on how to troubleshoot it, on 3ds Max, you have to reset the pivots of all parts shaded with the windshield material. This same issue occured to me when I was working on the 2024-native EMB-110.
You simply have to click on Align to World on the Max interface on all parts painted with the material and like magic the raindrops should flow in the correct direction. Where the pivot is located actually affects the raindrop direction, especially the green axis (Y, IIRC). The UV2 channel instead is used for the Insects Splatter layer (dirt & weathering) in 2024.
Please try that first and check if that works for you.

Hello @cdgonzalezgo
Thanks very much for this, I can confirm this fixed the issue.
Would be very handy if asobo could add this to the SDK documentation.
Thanks again,
John.

Agreed on this @Hodgeheg4424
Forgot to mention also, that this same fix also applies to the clear-coated materials or any other that receive rain. If you intend also to apply it on the aircraft structure (if clear coated), please take note of that, and be careful especially if you have children parts linked hierarchy-wise that have animations, because they might be broken after re-pivoting.
